Known for their beautiful marbled patterns, rounded bodies, and graceful movement, Mini Marble Motoro Stingray create an incredible presence as they glide along the bottom of a large aquarium.
Mini Marble Motoro Stingrays are selectively bred for a more compact size than standard Motoro Stingrays, but they still require a spacious aquarium with plenty of open bottom area. Their distinctive patterns can become even more striking as they mature, making each individual ray truly unique.
This Mini Marble Motoro Stingray has a 5” disk and is a baby female.
Adult Size: Approximately 12–16 inches across the disc
Temperament: Generally peaceful, but predatory toward small fish
Experience Level: Advanced
Diet: Carnivore; high-quality sinking foods including; earthworms, shrimp, mussels
Water Temperature: Approximately 78–82°F
Recommended pH: Approximately 6.5–7.5
Minimum Tank Size: 180 gallons; larger aquariums with substantial bottom space are recommended
Freshwater stingrays do best in a mature, spacious aquarium with excellent filtration, stable water parameters, and plenty of unobstructed bottom space. A fine sand substrate is recommended to allow the ray to move and bury itself comfortably while helping protect its delicate underside.
